The Enemy of souls hates even external silence. Why? Because it is in silence that we met God and are liberated from his grasp.
We find our unity not primarily in what is external but in the grace of God in our hearts and in the myriad gifts, He has given to each of us.
Our vocation is not a predetermined “slot” or “job” or even “office” in the Church. Rather it emerges slowly as we exercise the gifts given in baptism.
